Unlock the power of your voice and elevate your performance! "The Voice & the Actor" is a dynamic course designed for adults (ages 16 and older) who want to deepen their understanding and control of vocal techniques for stage performance. Whether you are an experienced performer or new to acting, this class will guide you through exercises and methods to strengthen your voice, enhance clarity, and develop a more expressive and commanding stage presence. Participants will explore breath control, vocal variety, resonance, articulation, and the relationship between voice and character. Join us in building a voice that resonates, captivates, and brings every word to life!

Molly Page (SSCC Theatre Program Coordinator) is back in Tuscaloosa after a decade creating art across the Southeast. She was previously onstage at Theatre Tuscaloosa in the early 2000s before obtaining her Masters in Theatre from Louisiana Tech. She is working to expand the theatre department at Shelton State through recruitment and actor training.
