About the Course
Bring your characters to life from the ground up! "Intro to Character Work through Movement" is an immersive one-day workshop for adults (ages 16 and older) that delves into the art of building authentic, compelling characters using physicality and movement. Through guided exercises, improvisation, and techniques rooted in physical theatre, participants will discover how body language, posture, gestures, and spatial awareness can define and deepen their portrayal of characters. This workshop is perfect for actors who want to break free from static performances and explore how movement can unlock a character’s inner world and motivations. No prior experience needed—just come ready to move, explore, and have fun!
