Buy Tickets
Individual tickets can only be purchased through our ticketing vendor, AudienceView Professional (web address will start with ci.ovationtix.com). We do not contract with any other ticketing source and strongly recommend against purchasing from other vendors due to the high chance of receiving fake tickets. Purchase Group Tickets Online
Follow the instructions for ordering individual tickets and fill in "Group" for a Promo Code. Then choose seats with the Promo Ticket Adult. You must choose at least 10 seats or the Promo Code "Group" will not work. Also, you will have to pay for all the seats at time of purchase – there’s no option for taking a partial payment for online sales.

Purchase Group Tickets by Phone
Call 205.391.2277 to arrange a group sale for 10 or more. By arranging your group's tickets in advance, we can offer you the following convenient options:
-
A discounted group ticket price
-
An invoice prior to purchase (if needed)
-
A partial down-payment (50% of total due) to hold seats
-
Ability to increase or decrease the number of seats held before making the final purchase
How Much Will We Save?
The group rate is essentially the same price as the student/child rate. Adults and seniors save money by coming in groups. Students/children in groups help to increase the group's total number.

For the 2024-25 season, we are not offering our usual season ticket options due to the ongoing renovations to the Bean-Brown Theatre. Instead, patrons may donate to our Annual Giving Campaign (click here for details) at the Star Level ($100) or above to gain access to an exclusive donor pre-sale one week prior to each event's on-sale date AND a 25% discount on all 2024-25 event tickets.

We anticipate returning to our normal season ticket options for the 2025-26 season as outlined below:

We generally offer two types of season ticket packages:

Traditional season tickets are a great option for theatre lovers to secure their favorite seats on a chosen performance day. With each subscription package, you will receive one ticket for each production in the current season's lineup and a 15% discount over individual ticket prices. Traditional season subscriptions are only available for sale prior to the start of the season and through the run of the first show.

Flex Five Packs are the perfect fit for busy subscribers who can't predict their schedules. These subscriptions come with five flexible credits that can be redeemed for any of our shows in any combination. They come with many of the same great benefits as traditional season tickets.

As you decide whether to join our family of season ticket holders, we suggest you review the exclusive benefits that you could enjoy.
You may also wish to review our Annual Giving Campaign donation levels and benefits first, because some of our donation levels come with free season tickets.
It is our tradition that the final dress rehearsal of each mainstage production in the Bean-Brown Theatre serves as a Pay-What-You-Can Preview. Audience members are asked to contribute any amount they choose, and seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Charles W. Dennis Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This program is designed to make theatre accessible to everyone. It is also an opportunity for students and theatre fans to see the show more than once. Because live theatre evolves throughout the run, it can be fascinating to see how the production changes between the final dress rehearsal and the closing performance. Pay-What-You-Can Previews usually take place on Thursday nights prior to opening nights at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to check each individual production's performance schedule, however.
Theatre Tuscaloosa partners with local corporations and foundations to provide free tickets to the staff, volunteers, and clients of non-profit organizations.

This program was initially created to benefit those affected by the Tuscaloosa tornado (April 27, 2011) and those who contributed to recovery efforts. Since then, it has evolved into a program that benefits those who help others. To apply for Play It Forward tickets, contact our ticket office at 205.391.2277, or send an email to tickets@theatretusc.com. If you or your organization would like to become a Play It Forward Sponsor, learn more on our Corporate Sponsors page.

Box Office Hours
Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and one hour prior to events
Seating Policies
All performances begin promptly. Every audience member must have a ticket before entering. Will Call ticket holders are advised to arrive 30 minutes prior to show time. No food or drinks are permitted in the theatre. Cell phones and pagers must be silenced during performances. Babes in arms are not permitted in the theatre. Attendees must be assigned a seat for safety and security guidelines.

Aisles and Safety
In many of our performances, performers enter and exit the house. For audience and actor safety, it is important to keep the aisles and doorways free of obstructions. Please do not leave personal items in the aisles, and please do not stand or sit in the aisles during the performance.

Late Seating
As a courtesy to our performers and other patrons, latecomers will be seated in available seating in the back of the theatre until intermission. At intermission, you may take your regularly assigned seat.
Ticket Exchanges and Refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. A $2.00 per ticket exchange fee will be applied to individual-show ticket exchanges. Tickets being exchanged must be for a performance that has not yet occurred. Tickets to past performances have expired and have no value, therefore they cannot be exchanged. Season Subscribers receive unlimited, free exchanges on current, non-expired tickets. Exchanges should be done a minimum of 24 hours prior to the performances being exchanged.
Dress
Although some of our patrons like to bring a jacket or sweater to the theatre, there is no dress code. Dress comfortably.
