Driving Miss Daisy opens April 23!!

Driving Miss Daisy (April 23–May 2, 2010)
By Alfred Uhry (1988 Pulitzer Prize Winner)

Driving Miss Daisy is a trip through time, as it chronicles the relationship between a sharply opinionated, but genteel white Southern Jewish widow, Daisy, and her black chauffeur, Hoke, from l948 to l973, which spanned a period of much historical change in this country. After Daisy crashes her car, her son, Boolie, secretly hires Hoke as her driver. Driving her own car represents freedom, and Daisy is reluctant to give up that freedom.
